About Me
Keosha (Key) Moody brings a diverse professional background to A HOPE, with experience spanning culinary arts, hospitality management, and logistics. Currently an Amazon DSP Associate, she has also worked as a chef, sous chef, and kitchen manager, developing strong leadership and organizational skills. She earned an Associate of Applied Science in Forestry from Jones College, demonstrating her deep appreciation for nature and sustainability.
While her nonprofit experience is limited, Key has dedicated significant time to volunteering with organizations such as the Osceola McCarty Youth Development Center, Boys & Girls Club of America, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Girl Scouts, and West Florida Roller Derby. Her commitment to community service reflects a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. She also serves as the captain of her roller derby league, a nonprofit organization, where she has gained valuable leadership, team management, and community engagement experience.
As a board member, Key is committed to ensuring strategic alignment with A HOPE’s mission, fostering collaboration, and driving initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness. She values open communication, transparency, and teamwork, believing that diverse viewpoints lead to stronger, more innovative solutions. Drawing from her culinary and sports background, she understands the importance of trust, adaptability, and motivation in achieving collective success.
Key is eager to contribute her passion for animal welfare and her ability to inspire and engage others in meaningful work. She believes in fostering a positive, team-oriented environment that encourages collaboration and dedication to A HOPE’s mission. With a strong foundation in leadership and community outreach, she looks forward to helping expand the organization's reach, increase awareness, and ensure every pet receives the care they deserve.
