Free dog and cat food is given out to families in need, once a month, on the second Sunday of the month from 1pm to 3pm. We offer this service to help keeps pets in their homes, where they belong. This is for pets only and not outdoor community cats. These must be owned animals with proof of current rabies and sterilization. If you do not have your pets fixed or do not have current rabies proof, then we can guide you on your first visit.

Qualifications

  • Less than $25,000 household income**

  • Less than 5 pets

  • Pets live in Santa Rosa County, Florida

  • Pets are altered and up to date on rabies vaccination

*If you don't meet one or more of the qualifications listed above but still feel that your pet could benefit from this service, please email us at ahopeoutreach@gmail.com to set up a meeting ahead of time. If you would like to donate pet items to the Paw Pad Pet Food Pantry to help us better serve the community, we are currently accepting dog food, cat food, and litter. Your donations are greatly appreciated.

**Important Info: Our service is volunteer based and is operated on a first come, first serve basis. The Paw Pad is located at 5755 Washington St Milton, FL 32570. We open at 1pm and serve until we run out of food, or 3pm (whichever comes first). This is a drive thru service and you will not need to get out of your vehicle. Please bring your driver's license, proof of income, and proof of residency with you. You will also need the documents to prove your pet is altered and up to date on rabies. We do offer spay/neuter/vaccine services, so if you show up and sign up to get your pet fixed and vaccinated with us, we will still provide you with food for the initial visit. If you do not have proof your pets are altered, yet they are, please bring your pet as proof and printed rabies information. All pets must be in a carrier or on a leash.**
